The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially recognized the upgrade of Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium as a world record for the fastest completion time in cricket. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited the stadium to oversee the final touches on hospitality boxes and other areas before its grand reopening. The project, completed in just 110 days, increased the seating capacity by 10,000, bringing it to a total of 34,000, allowing more fans to attend live matches. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to inaugurate the newly renovated stadium on February 7, ahead of the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025.
