Within Kunduz province in Afghanistan, there is a dramatic increase in the production of apricots (Amlok) this year. Apricots' total yield has reached 721 tons, marking a clear development in the agricultural output for the Kunduz region. This increase constitutes one of the best indicators for agriculture in Afghanistan's country as a whole. Favorable climatic conditions and better agricultural practices are key factors behind rising production. In addition to selling apricots locally, the production of these fruits will gain local export opportunities, which can further empower the regional economy.

The Bolan Pass is a historic valley and natural gateway through Balochistan, Pakistan, located about 120 km (75 miles) south of the Afghan border.
The pass consists of a series of narrow gorges and valleys, forming a vital link between Sibi and Quetta by both road and railway.
For centuries, the Bolan Pass has served as a key route for traders, invaders, and nomadic tribes moving between India and Central Asia. The British also used it as a strategic route during their campaigns in Afghanistan. The pass is known to be one of the world's most dangerous rail routes due to its challenging terrain and steep, winding tracks.
Despite its dangers, the Bolan Pass is also famous for its breathtaking scenery. It offers stunning views of rugged mountains and scenic landscapes, making it a blend of natural beauty and historical significance.
